Programme profile
Radiographers are responsible for producing high quality images to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. While obviously a caring profession, radiography requires considerable technological and scientific expertise in both the production of images and the responsible delivery of ionising radiation. If you are interested in science and you want to use your knowledge to care for people, then consider Radiography.
Our aim is to prepare graduate radiographers to meet the everyday challenges arising from ongoing advances in diagnostic imaging and healthcare

First Year: Anatomy; Introduction to Radiographic Technology; Introduction to Clinical Practice; Clinical Applications of Radiation; Electives
Second Year: Anatomy; Physiology; Electives; Clinical Placement
Third Year: Advanced Practice of Radiography; Vascular and Trauma Imaging; Introduction to Research; Mechanisms of Disease; Electives; Clinical Placement
Fourth Year: Advanced Practice of Radiography; Legal Medicine; Oncology Imaging; Research Project; Systematic Pathology;,Erasmus opportunities; Clinical Placement
Entry Requirements
Students must present six subjects of which two must be at grade C or above at Advanced GCE (A-Level. The other subjects must be at least at grade C or above on GCSE or Advanced Subsidiary GCE (AS) papers. The six subjects must include: English, Mathematics, a Lab Science subject and a language other than English.
