This programme offers a unique opportunity to take two degrees at the same time from two different jurisdictions. You receive a Bachelor of Civil Law degree from UCD, and a French Law degree
Programme content
During your first two years of the dual-degree programme, you will study the normal range of legal subjects that are taken in the BCL, and which are required by the professional legal bodies. These include Constitutional Law, Contract Law, Tort, EU Law and Criminal Law. In addition, you will study both French Public Law and French Private Law.
Your third and fourth years are spent in Paris or Toulouse and subjects are set by the relevant institution.
Entry Requirements
Students must present six subjects of which two must be at grade C or above at Advanced GCE (A-Level. Others must be at least at grade C or above on GCSE or Advanced Subsidiary GCE (AS) papers. The six subjects above must include:English, Mathematics and a language other than English.
