Every person needs a pleasant, safe and well equipped environment to live, work and to relax in. At home you can create your own living environment, perfectly catered to your own needs. Most people however spend a great deal of their time in public places or buildings where there are other people about: at work, at school, or at the local sports club.. It is proven that people function better in a pleasant environment. Facility Managers are responsible for creating this pleasant atmosphere, be it in a building [such as a hospital or a hotel) or an event (such as a conference or a concert).
This programme prepares you for a career as a Facility Manager in a wide range of international settings and environments.

Year 1: What is Facility Management; Processes and Analyses, The Workplace, Services
Year 2: Developing New Services; Sustainable Buildings; Purchase and Tender; Quality Management
Year 3: Study Abroad; International Placement
Year 4: Commercial Strategy; Commercial FM or Corporate Strategy; Corporate FM; Graduation Project
Progression
The university doesn’t currently offer a related Masters programme, taught in English
Entry Requirements
Two A/S levels and 4 GCSEs
Six subjects at Leaving Certificate including 2 at H5 OR relevant QQI/FETAC Level 5
