This programme is designed for individuals who wish to undergo a highly vocational and specific training for the creation and production of drama / fiction films for film and television. “It is designed for individuals with passion, creativity, imagination and a real commitment to gaining and sustaining a lasting career in film-making. The programme provides its students with the opportunity to develop as individual creative artists able to work and thrive in multiple contexts and environments.” The programme is designed to provide you with all the principle key skills for narrative / fiction film production.

Programme content
This is an integrated programme with eleven principle areas of study: 1. Creative and technical production techniques [Camera, Lighting, Sound] 2. Scriptwriting / creative development; 3. Pre-production processes; 4. Approaches to performance; 5. Directing techniques; 6. Editing and post-production; 7. Distribution and exhibition; 8. Film funding and finance; 9. Media law (contracts, copyright, etc); 10. Industry analysis; 11. Film theory, history and analysis
