Programme profile
This programme focuses on management and business administration in the renewable energy sector. It will furnish students with technical and practical knowledge in green power technologies (e.g. solar energy, wind, water, geothermal power and bioenergy) as well as with fundamentals of general management, such as finance or marketing. Projects and specialised modules will deepen your understanding of the extensive field of energy supply, its markets and regulations. Study projects are included, which allow students to gain practical skills. At the end of the second year, students have a 15-week internship, in which they will interact with representatives from the public and renewable energy sector.
The growing sector of environmental technologies and renewable energies offers various attractive job opportunities. Graduates work within the energy providing sector, in governmental or non-profit institutions as well as in firms which have identified innovative energy solutions as important future business. Typical career destinations include: Green technology consulting, Economic analysis and technology assessment, Energy and facility management, Ecology and environmental protection.
