It covers themes such as copyright and media law, marketing, communication, account and project management, negotiating and research, strategy, cross-cultural management, and business and entertainment analysis and concepts.
Programme content
This programme is based on the major/minor model. This means the programme consists of a major subject (major), a specialisation minor and a differentiation minor. Your major, in Creative Business, Communication & Media makes up 50% of the programme and will provide a broad foundation for your studies. You will cover subjects such as research, marketing, concept development and trends, planning and control, and management and organisation.
Your specialisation minor - Media & Entertainment Management - will begin in the first year. Examples of courses and lectures are entertainment industry concepts, negotiating skills, business analysis and concepts, management skills, media law and account management.
From the start of the third year, you can broaden or deepen your study by selecting a differentiation minor which matches your own personal interests and ambitions, such as: Film studies; Artist management; Experience management; Live entertainment management; Brand management; Radio production; TV production.
