Programme profile


This programme qualifies you to work independently on diagnosis, repair and optimisation of automotive technology. It also qualifies you to take on the overall management of a garage, as well as the administration and training of staff.

The programme is all about cars: importantly, you will learn to combine theory with practical work, and be able to handle both technical and commercial challenges within the automotive field. The degree offers subjects such as innovation and design, bodywork, driving systems, IT diagnosis systems, HR, law and operational management.

Programme content


The Automotive Management programme is designed to combine theory with practice. The first three semesters are taught at the academy through a combination of class teaching, projects, case studies, guest speakers and study trips to local businesses. In the fourth semester, theory is applied in practice through an internship in a company of your choice.The programme consists of three core areas: Technology and Design, Management and Operational and Optimization, Repair and IT.

In the third semester, you will choose a specialization that will give you the opportunity to improve your study and professional competencies.You can choose between nine electives:

- Mechanical optimization
- Electronic optimization
- Hybrid cars
- Data logging and analysis
- Styring systems
- Optimization of bodywork
- Entrepreneurship
- Economics
- Operational management

This AP Degree can be topped up to a full degree in 1.5 years in Denmark, or elsewhere

Entry Requirements


Three A-levels [or 2 A-Levels & 2 A/S Levels] and 3 GCSEs [in six different subjects], or equivalent

Six passes at Leaving Certificate (inc 2 at H4). Relevant subjects required.
