Programme profile
In the last two decades, Ireland has achieved major international honours in the field of drama. There are more professional theatre companies and dramatists in this country than ever before. Drama and theatre are becoming important elements in our educational system while broadcasting, film and television offer new and exciting opportunities to Irish graduates.
Drama & Theatre Studies offers students the opportunity of engaging with the study and practice of drama and theatre at university level, while retaining the traditional strengths of the Arts degree.
