Programme profile
This is the broadest entry into the UCD Arts programme, and is the path that is followed by most students, with approximately 1,230 places available each year. There are more than 30 subjects available and a great deal of flexibility in how you put these subjects together.
The great strength of the UCD Arts programme is that you develop as a person while learning about your chosen subject areas. As you mature and your vision for your future becomes clear, you will acquire new skills and discover further opportunities upon graduation to continue your studies or to follow a fulfilling career.
Programme content
UCD encourages you to choose two subjects on your CAO form and guarantees that you can take these two subjects to degree level. UCD also gives you the opportunity to study other subjects in first year. Most students complete the BA degree in three years. Students taking an international year will complete in four years

Entry Requirements
Students must present six subjects of which two must be at grade C or above at Advanced GCE (A-Level. Others must be at least at grade C or above on GCSE or Advanced Subsidiary GCE (AS) papers. The six subjects above must include:English, Mathematics and a language other than English.
