Limerick is the third largest City in the Republic of Ireland with an urban population of over 90,000 and is only 15 minutes drive from Shannon Airport. King John's Castle, The Hunt Museum and Limerick City Gallery of Art are just a couple of sights to see here. The Belltable Arts Centre on O'Connell street hosts local playwriting and drama for those interested in drama and arts. Pedestrianised Cruises Street is the main shopping destination on the City, there is also a large shopping centre, the Crescent, loacted 5 minutes from the City. Nightlife in Limerick is lively with Tuesdays and Thursdays being the main student nights. The most popular clubs among students are Trinity Rooms and Angel Lane.
