Cork is the second largest City in the Republic of Ireland with a population of over 110,000. There are many sights to see while staying in Cork including Cork's most famous building, the church tower of Shandon, which dominates the North side of the city. It is widely regarded as the symbol of the city. The main shopping street in Cork is Patrick's street. Most of the high street shops are located here, there are also many boutiques dotted around the City. Cork has a buzzing nightlife. With over 100 pubs and nightclubs in the City centre there is never a dull moment.
